Volunteering With TLP
We couldn't do our work without our dedicated volunteers. From organizing fundraisers and events to working directly with our youth, volunteer opportunities vary depending on our immediate needs and your own skillset. See below for the different ways to get involved.
join the TLP associate board
One of the best ways to get involved is through our Associate Board (TLPA). With opportunities to get involved with youth engagement efforts, plan events, assist with fundraising, and more, this is a great way to make a huge impact on the work TLP is doing.
engage as a group
Are you part of a group or organization that is interested in giving back to the community? Partner with TLP for a volunteer day of service to lead a project at one of our program sites or in your own space. Former group volunteer events include gardening at Belfort House, making lunches for the Drop-In Resource Center, organizing fundraisers and in-kind drives, and bringing TLP young people on site to teach them a unique workplace skill.
share your unique skill
Do you have a unique skill that could benefit our young people? Volunteers have worked with TLP clients to teach skills such as cooking, radio broadcasting. playing instruments, and expression through art.
